Hey Charlotte Beer Babes & friends!
Here is the post so you can see all of the August 2022 events in one place, to be sure that you don’t miss anything you want to make this month!
I have started back up with two of our standard, monthly events, and am also adding a few random other events in sporadically.
First up we have a special event! Since we missed our 8th, 9th and 10th Anniversary Parties, we’re doing a Belated Anniversary Party on Saturday, August 8, at NoDa Brewing! Part of this will be to celebrate the “10th Saison des Babes” beer release that Bethany collab brewed with NoDa’s head brewer, Chad. Part of this will be to celebrate TEN YEARS with a new logo reveal, merchandise preview (shirts!!!), and hanging out together for some true Beer Babes fun! The beer will be available from noon until 10pm, and the Anniversary event will “officially” be going from noon until 5pm that day. Come join Bethany on Saturday, August 6, and follow the Facebook and Meetup events for more details! Watch all the socials for the new logo reveal that day, as well! 🙂
Next up, we have our Monthly Beer Ed series, which will be at Lenny Boy Brewing on Tuesday, August 9, from 6-9pm, with the class starting up about 6:30pm. We will sample a pre-selected flight that will include non-alcoholic kombucha as well as a selection of their beers! Join us Tuesday, August 9, from 6-9pm at Lenny Boy Brewing through the Facebook or Meetup events!
Finally, we have our Monthly Brewery Visit series, which for August 23, will be hosted at Blue Blaze. Come join us between 6-9pm to grab a half pint, pint, or flight while we hang out, talk beer, and just generally have a good & relaxed time! Join us Tuesday, August 23, from 6-9pm at Blue Blaze Brewing, just off Uptown, through the Facebook or Meetup events!
Finally, I wanted to get in front of yall early with an opportunity to volunteer or attend the Bière de Femme Festival on September 10, hosted this year at NoDa Brewing and benefitting Pink Boots Society! If you’re interested in volunteering, please sign up on Facebook or Meetup events AND send me an email to confirm volunteering. If you’re interested in attending, sign up on Facebook or Meetup events so other members know you’re going, and don’t forget to buy your tickets to either VIP or GA session!
We will have Beer Ed & Brewery Visits every month, usually 2nd & 4th weeks (respectively), and I’m trying to do another Virtual or in-person event as well each month. Stay tuned, as we will have some fun events coming up through year’s end!
