Hey Charlotte Beer Babes & friends!
I wanted to create a post to share so you can see all of the July 2022 events in one place, to be sure that you don’t miss anything you want to make this month!
I have started back up with two of our standard, monthly events, and am also adding a few random other events in sporadically.
First up we have our Monthly Beer Ed series, which is a special one for our July 12 date! Co-Hosted by Rachael Cardwell Hudson, head brewer & owner of Pilot Brewing, who will be leading us on a Hop Rub & IPA tasting experiment from 6-9pm, with the class starting up about 6:30pm. We will sample 4 IPAs she has picked, while learning about the hops featured in each beer! Rachael is an Advanced Cicerone who is passionate about sharing her love of beer. If you’d like to come learn but not drink 4 IPAs, that’s also fine and you can absolutely build your own flight! Join us Tuesday, July 12, from 6-9pm at Pilot Brewing in Plaza-Midwood through the Facebook or Meetup events!
Next up, we have our Monthly Brewery Visit series, which for July 26, will be hosted at Triple C Brewing. Come join us between 6-9pm to grab a half pint, pint, or flight while we hang out, talk beer, and just generally have a good & relaxed time! Join us Tuesday, July 26, from 6-9pm at Triple C Brewing near LoSo through the Facebook or Meetup events!
Finally, we had a timing snafu on our first attempt, so we’re going to retry our Virtual Beer Babes Book Club meet on Thursday, July 28, from 6:30-7:30pm. Our first book is From Beer To Eternity by Sherry Harris, a cozy mystery in a Florida beach town. Join us through the Facebook or Meetup events to get the book links and meeting link.
We will have Beer Ed & Brewery Visits every month, usually 2nd & 4th weeks (respectively), and I’m trying to do another Virtual or in-person event as well each month. Stay tuned, as we will have some fun events coming up through year’s end!
