Heya Babes!

This week we have a two incredibly fun (and cheap) events planned! We were also the guests for this week’s CheersCLT Podcast episode: That’s What She Said 2.0!

First off, thank you to the gents at CheerCLT for having Lisa (homebrewer instructor), Suzie (co-owner of Noda Brewing), and myself on for the podcast of That’s What She Said 2.0! We had an absolute blast, and couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out! Plus, yummy beer – hello, winner winner beer for dinner! 😉 Give it a listen and prepared to be amused!

Second, thank you to the ladies who switched last minute from World of Beer Southend to Good Bottle for our Second Saturday event. I will post another thing later this week with more details, but for now – we had an absolute blast and changes are a-coming there!

Okay, now for our events. First up, we have Charlotte Beer Babe Lisa, also of the Carolina Brew Masters, who will be schooling us on Homebrewing on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at Carolina Beer Temple (131-1C Matthews Station St, Matthews, NC) from 6:30-9pm. This is the first in a three-part series about homebrewing that we are doing! Cost is only what you drink at Carolina Beer Temple! Sign up at Meetup or Facebook event pages.

Second event up, we will have honorary Beer Babe Ben, a certified Cicerone, who will be educating us on the proper ways to taste beer (aroma, mouthfeel, flavor, etc) as well as giving us a brief overview of ‘BJCP verbiage’. This Cicerone class will be at Salud Beer Shop (3306-B N. Davidson St., Charlotte, NC) on Sunday, May 18, 2014, from 11:45am – 1:00pm. Class will cost $15 and covers the beers we will taste! Please note: we are doing this class BEFORE Salud opens at 1pm, so we have the whole space to ourselves, as well as a need to be start promptly at 12pm! Please get there at 11:45am so we can get started with setting everyone up for the tasting to start at 12pm!
