Hey Charlotte Beer Babes!

We’re gearing up to kick off a strong 2015, and we’re starting it off with our two monthly series events: Second Saturday Beer Education & Tasting, and Last Tuesday Brewery Visit.

Starting us off in true Beer Babes style, we will be going to our new Second Saturday home of The Beer Growler Charlotte (located across South Blvd from World of Beer Southend) for a $12 beer education and tasting class where we’ll focus on Stouts (and sample 6 of this lovely style) on Saturday, January 10, at 1pm! If you love stouts, have been afraid to tackle them, or just aren’t sure if you really have tried ones to accurately determine if your palate enjoys stouts – come out for this class and give them a taste! To continue our January, we’ll be heading on the Last Tuesday (January 27) over to check out new-Charlotte brewery Sugar Creek Brewing, starting at 6pm. This is one of the newer breweries to Charlotte, and these guys took over the former location of The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery. They are brewing lots of tasty drinks for us to try with a complete focus on Belgian-inspired beers! We’ll get meet starting at 6pm, go on a brewery tour at 7pm, and then hang out until they close at 9pm with pints or flights of their Belgian creations!
